Conference history
Proceedings from the AGRITECH conference are published in internationally recognized open-access journals, ensuring wide visibility and academic impact for the presented research.

Recent AGRITECH conferences have featured their proceedings in the E3S Web of Conferences (France), with each year’s event documented in a dedicated volume (613, 548, 486, 390).

Earlier conferences were published in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (GB) across several volumes. This continuous record provides a rich source of scientific articles covering advanced topics in agricultural technologies, environmental engineering, and sustainable development. Accepted papers from AGRITECH are peer-reviewed and indexed, further contributing to the advancement of research and innovation in these fields.
The AGRITECH conference began over a decade ago in Uzbekistan, originally organized by leading technical universities such as Termez Engineering Technological Institute and Bukhara State Technical University, with later editions hosted by Namangan and Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institutes. Founding sponsors and partners included the Innovation Scientific Consulting Center (Uzbekistan), Siberian Scientific Centre DNIT (Russia), Krasnoyarsk Science and Technology City Hall of the Russian Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations, Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University (Russia), Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (Russia), Volga Region Research Institute (Russia), and Zhetysu University (Kazakhstan). These organizations provided critical support and expertise in shaping AGRITECH as a key platform for international scientific collaboration in agriculture and environmental engineering.

Initially, AGRITECH focused on core topics such as crop production, resource management, and conventional agricultural practices. As the needs of stakeholders and technological advancements progressed, the conference embraced broader themes:
  • Automation and Digitization: Smart technologies in farming, automation, data management, and digital agriculture became central themes.
  • Precision Agriculture: Robotics, IoT, and decision support systems were integrated to enhance productivity and sustainability.
  • Environmental Solutions: The scope expanded to sustainable resource use, renewable energy, and biodiversity conservation.
  • Innovative Machinery and Systems: Attention shifted toward advanced agricultural machinery and systemic innovations.
  • Agroforestry and Ecological Balance: Recent editions spotlighted climate resilience strategies and sustainable ecosystem management.
  • Collaborative and Multidisciplinary Approaches: Growing emphasis was placed on research partnerships involving academia, industry, and practitioners.
In recent years, AGRITECH has continued to adapt, highlighting cutting-edge topics such as AI-driven agriculture, climate-smart solutions, biological innovations, smart supply chains, agribusiness fintech, and data analytics. These themes address pressing issues in sustainability and technological advancement, reflecting global trends in the sector.

The conference now regularly attracts more than 400 participants from over ten countries and is renowned for its vibrant community, diverse international representation, and collaborative spirit.

Keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions facilitate the exchange of pioneering ideas and foster long-lasting partnerships.

Every year, AGRITECH updates its agenda to showcase emerging challenges and breakthrough technologies - remaining at the forefront of agricultural science, environmental engineering, and sustainable development in Central Asia and beyond.
